Market building under construction, which was already roofed, had all the roofing destroyed by the storm that devastated Twifo Praso on Friday, April 7,2023.

The market building has not been completed yet, and as such, no trading is currently ongoing at the place, but the rainstorm has ripped off the roofing.

No market women displaced at the uncompleted market building as no trader has been assigned there, as reported earlier on.

Market women and traders are located at the New Market near the Ghana Police Service District office.

Methodist classroom blocks were not spared as the storms ripped off the roofing, leading to the flooding of the classrooms.

The DCE, Mr Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi, and the NADMO office have quickly initiated steps to see to it that affected Methodist classroom blocks were fixed as early as possible.

Speaking to mcOnline, Mr Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi expressed optimism that the classrooms in particular would be fixed as his office can not tolerate pupils staying out of school because of the disaster. So, he will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to have the roofs restored.

mcOnline would be following up on the remedies to restoring teaching and learning in the district after the devastating rainstorm.
