Watching the videos of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s tour of the Oti Region, one can clearly come to the conclusion that he is the toast of the grassroots of the party.
The ecstatic jubilation, the enthusiastic smiles of the delegates and their determination to see to it Dr. Bawumia gets the nod to lead the party into the 2024 elections are too visible not to notice.
The delegates understand clearly that with Dr. Bawumia as the party’s presidential candidate, the NPP stands a greater chance of breaking the 8 than any other person.
Everyone knows that Bawumia is the nemesis of the opposition National Democratic Congress as he has tormented them over the years with his superior knowledge on governance.
Even now, he still gives the NDC the jitters. John Mahama is not a match for Bawumia and these NDC people know this fact well.
Make no mistake, while there is no complacency on the part of the Bawumia team, it is quite obvious that he will trounce his peers in the race.
We are drawing the attention of all critics, including those who are in the same race with Dr. Bawumia and their supporters to watch the videos in circulation as the Vice President is on his tour.
The videos give one information: Bawumia is the choice of the delegates and grassroots. When he wins, let no one come out to create the impression that people have been coerced to vote for him.
The smiles we see on the faces of the delegates are not forced. They are supporting him from their hearts because they simply love him. They are voting for him because they love him, so let no one come out to say later that these delegates have been compelled to vote for Bawumia.

The vice President is failed candidate, if Ghana were a serious country, he should have resigned long before now. The fact that he appeals to the grassroots shows the level unseriousness we attached to the governance of this country.
Sad!
