OLD STUDENTS OF TWIFO OSENAGYA D/A BASIC SCHOOL SUPPORT STUDENTS AND HONOUR MOST HARDWORKING TEACHER
Old Students Association (OSA) of Twifo Osenagya D/A Basic School in the Twifo Atti-morkwa district of central region have celebrated their Alma Matter where they received their Basic School education.
The memorable occasion was massively attended by the chiefs, pastors, political figures and people from all walks of life. The association embarked on a thorough cleanup exercise in the Twifo Osenagya township to maintain good sanitation. They also renovated the staff common room and the headteacher’s office of the Osenagya D/A Basic School.
They climaxed the occasion with presentation of exercise books, pens and pencils to the most outstanding students in the school.
Mr. Daniel Tei Mensah is the President of the Old Students Association (OSA) of Twifo Osenagya D/A Basic School spoke with Peace News about the goals of the association.
The association also honoured Mr. Samuel Adu a 62 year old non professional teacher who has taught in the Osenagya D/A Basic school for almost 30 years without salary with fufu pounding machine for his dedication, selflessness and commitment to education in the area.
Dr. Eric Baah who is the vice president of the association explained to Peace News why they awarded the teacher.

Mr. Larbi Frimpong, the assistant headteacher of Twifo Osenagya D/A Basic School also said that the actions of the old students will serve as an inspiration to the current students in the school to take their learning seriously.
