COVID-19 THOUGH AFFECTED OUR ECONOMY BUT IT HAS IMPROVED OUR HEALTH SECTOR AND OUR LIFESTYLE…DCE for Twifo Atti-morkwa district
The District Chief Executive of Twifo Atti-morkwa district in the central region Hon. Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi has said retrospectively that Ghanaians went through a hell during the peak moment of the COVID-19 pandemic particularly in year 2020. Ghanaians social, religious, economic and political lives became under restrictions which to the large extent had an adverse effects on the people.
However, the DCE believes that despite the awful side of the pandemic, it has also brought about some significant improvement in the health sector and also in our way of living.
He mentioned that, most of the health facilities during the covid-19 era received some essential health equipment, other health facilities also saw facelift in different shapes which currently helping to provide quality healthcare delivery to the citizenry.
In an interview with Listowel Aboagye Dacosta of Wassaman Fm, Hon. Robert Agyemang Nyantakyi also alluded that, the covid- 19 has also helped to improve personal hygiene and environmental cleanliness of the society which to him is positive change worths commenting.

Meanwhile, the Twifo Atti-morkwa district health director, Mr. Kwabena Ofosu also lamented that, the staff strength in almost all the health facilities in the Twifo Atti-morkwa district is very low so they will need more staff. Again, almost all the health facilities in the district also need total renovation to motivate the staff and even the patients who come there for various medical treatment.
