MP FOR WASSA EAST CONSTITUENCY APPEALS TO GOVERNMENT TO COMPLETE ALL THE COCOA ROADS BEFORE DECEMBER 7
Hon. Isaac Adjei Mensah is the mp for Wassa East constituency and a former minister for roads and highways has appealed to the government to ensure a completion of all the cocoa roads that were awarded to contract in 2012 by Ghana cocobod under the Mahama administration.
He lamented that almost all such roads have been completely abandoned by the current government. The abandonment of these roads has made it very difficult to have access to rural communities where food stuff are brought to the cities to feed the nation.
Hon. Isaac Adjei Mensah also expressed worries about the stress farmers go through before they are able to transport their farm produce to bigger market in the cities particularly during the rainy season like this.
He there called on Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo and Bawumia to pay road contractors who have deserted the roads to go back to cite to complete their work before December 7.
