In a sharp response from the palace of Mampongso Divisional Chief, Nana Kwame Annim (I) who is the Apagyahene of the Divisional Chief explained that, these illegal miners at Kyinkyeso have destroyed almost all the major river bodies in the area. It is now left with only one stream which serves about 10 communities with a population of over 15,000 people and the kyinkyeso galamsey boys want to touch that one too.
So the chiefs only sent men there to stop them and cease all their equipment to the chief’s palace.
