The Chief Labour Officer, Mr. Dawuda Ibrahim Braimah made the remarks applauding Nurses and Midwives during the swearing-in and induction ceremony of newly elected National Executive Committee members of the GRNMA at its National Secretariat in Accra.

Speaking as the Chairman for the Ceremony, he expressed gratitude to members of the association for the trust reposed in the elected leadership through yet another peaceful transition.

He urged the new leadership to reciprocate the gesture by demonstrating trust and confidence in their roles.

The election which was held in November 2023 saw the overwhelming endorsement of the current President Mrs Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo and many others on her board for another four year term.

Also gracing the induction Ceremony were the General Secretary of GMA (Dr. Selorm), who expressed trust in the leadership of the GRNMA in their partnership and collaboration. To him, the GMA and the GRNMA have a common interest aimed at ensuring improved welfare needs of their members and by extension, the welfare of our clientele.

Speaking on behalf of the HSWU, Mr. Reynold Tenkorang expressed optimism and trust the HSWU has in the GRNMA in promoting the welfare of its members.

Other Attendees at the swearing-in and induction ceremony included Mr. Isaac Bampoe, the Chairman of FORUM and Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG, Dr. Patrice Seddorh Esq, the GRNMA legal counsel.
