Speaking at the swearing-in and induction ceremony of the newly elected National Executive Committee of the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA), Dr Baah congratulated the GRNMA for playing pivotal role in the welfare of workers including Nurses and Midwives in Ghana.
Dr.Yaw Baah sounded warning that Organised Labour will not sit and watch unconcerned otherwise the next essential commodity to be taxed will be water and that will be very disastrous for workers in general.
The GRNMA election which was held in November 2023 saw the overwhelming endorsement of the current President Mrs Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo.
Gracing the induction Ceremony, the General Secretary of GMA expressed trust in the leadership of the GRNMA.
He further extended to the GRNMA the goodwill from the Leadership of the GMA.
Speaking on behalf of HSWU, Reynold Tenkorang expressed optimism and trust the HSWU has in the GRNMA in promoting welfare of its members.
In Attendance at the swearing-in and induction ceremony included Mr Isaac Bampoe, the Chairman of Forum and Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG, Dr Patrice Seddorh Esq, the GRNMA legal counsel. The GMA was also represented by its General Secretary, Dr Selorm.
