Jukwa Breman-Twifo Praso road is a ticking time bomb.
The June 18, 2022 Jukwa floods left caused damages to major bridges on the Jukwa-Twifo Praso Road.
As mcOnline correspondent visited the Jukwa Bridge near the Police barrier , it was noticed that the bridge has been fixed but yet to be tarred.
One of the bridges that sustained some damages is the Jukwa Breman section of the Twifo Praso stretch.
At the time of visit, one side of the road is blocked and motorists are forced to use a single lane because the other lane has become weak.
We are bringing this to the attention of the Roads and Highways to expedite action on the road to avert any disaster considering the number of heavy trucks that ply the road .
Town folks have demonstrated this year and threatened to block the road but timely intervention by some opinion leaders quenched the flames.
It is a ticking time bomb that must be avoided or maybe we are waiting to fix such a defect on another June ,18.
The rains have started.
