THE NATIONAL ELECTION COMMITTEE OF THE GRNMA ANNOUNCES NATIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE ELECTIVE POSITIONS FOR 16TH QUADRIENIAL NATIONAL DELEGATES CONGRESS.
The tenure of office for current National Executive Committee expires in December 2023.
Based on the foregoing, processes have began to receive nominations for vacant positions for the National Executive Committee positions.
Opening of Nomination: Monday May 1, 2023.
Closing of Nomination:
Wednesday May 31, 2023.
The Vacant National Executive Committee Positions
- President
- 1st Vice President
- 2nd Vice President
- General Secretary
- Assistant General Secretary
- National Treasurer
- Assist National Treasurer
- National Public Relations Officer
- Assistant National Public Relations officer
Interested nominees must take note of the following:
Nominee must be:
- A paid-up member of the GRNMA
- Must pick up a nomination form from respective Regional Secretariats.
- Must ensure that each Nomination form is endorsed by two different Regions : one region nominating and the other seconding the nomination.
- Must submit the filled nomination forms with the following documents as attachment to the GRNMA National Secretariat Shiashie Accra by 5:00 pm on 31st May 2023:
a. Curriculum Vitae
b. Manifesto
c. Two (2) passport size Photograph with red background.
d. Current payslips : February 2023 to April 2023.
e. Photocopy of “Front and Back” of National Identification Card (Ghana Card)

Why are we not able to have elections start from the district level? If it must be done, it must be done well.
Voting by only delegates does not always represent the general needs of entire members. I wish and app will be developed for members to vote or Voting should be done on district basis where every nurse/midwife will make his/ her choice.
Excellent leadership and personally will wish that all the current executive should reapplied. Good job done .am proud of your tremendous performance.
