UPPER EAST REGION RECEIVES A TOTAL AMOUNT OFGHC 96,000.00 IN HEALTH SUPPORT FOR NURSES AND MIDWIVES.

The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) led by its visionary leader, Madam Pepertual Offori Ampofo, through the regional branch, presented Ghc.96,000.00 to sick members.

The regional team presented support cheque at the Upper East Regional Hospital, where madam Gifty Tater who has been ill for some time now received ghc. 50,000.00 to support her medical treatment.

Sister Muniratu, who received the cheque on behalf of Gifty, was short of words to express her profound gratitude and appreciation to madam President and her team for such support.

In Bongo District Hospital, Mr. Kadmiel Azitariga, who was involved in RTA and sustained fractures of his upper limbs, received ghc. 10,000.00 to foot the medical bills he incurred.

On the other hand, sister Alice Akurugo who lost all her entire belongings as a result fire disaster also received ghc. 6,000.00. Sister Jemima Jampana at Anafu- Bisi health Centre under Bongo District health directorate, received ghc. 10,000.00 from the health fund.

She was involved in RTA and sustained multiple fractures of her lower limbs and subsequently underwent surgery at the Tamale Teaching Hospital.

At Paga Hospital in Kassena Nankana West District, the health fund extended support to sister Scholastica Akuntugiya.

Sister Scholastica has also not been well for some time now. As a result, she received ghc. 20,000.00 to support her medical treatment.

The beneficiaries expressed their profound appreciations and gratitudes to the President of GRNMA, Mrs. Pepertual Offori Ampofo and her team for such unprecedented support.

The beneficiaries were very happy and called on all nurses and midwives to rally behind the GRNMA.
