University of Education, Winneba holds 27th Congregation.

The University of Education, Winneba says the new administration led by Vice Chancellor Professor Mawutor Avoke since taking officer has received numerous petitions and injunctions which is aimed at deterring management from running a smooth university.

Council Chairman Nana Ofori Ansah III, says elements within the University under the guise of concerned staff keep churning out fabricated stories about the Chairman, Vice Chancellor and the Management team but says the school is ready to stretch a hand of friendship to all who are aggrieved.

According to the Council Chairman of the University Nana Ofori Ansah III, some elements within the University have resorted tonthe law court on simple administrative matters while others use surrogates who most of the time have noting to do with the university to disrupt academic work.

He indicated that the university remains resilient to ensure that the university thrives.

Speaking to mcOnline on the sidelines of the 27th congregation of the University, council chairman Nana Ofori Ansah says the University is ready to stretch a hand of friendship to all who are aggrieved to help resolve matters.

In all, over 12,000 individuals are graduating from the university with various degrees.

Vice Chancellor Professor Mawutor Avoke while addressing the gathering indicated that the university has begun some construction works on the various campuses of the university to help admit more students. He also had a word for graduands.
