The chief of Twifo No.1 in the Twifo Atti-morkwa district of central region Nana Okai Ansah (I) is lamenting about the life threatening state of the Twifo No.1 D/A Primary School. According to the chief, the school was built with local building materials, sticks and sand through community self help project initiative in 1984 which was 40 years ago.
He added that the current state of the school poses dangerous threat to both teachers and learners.

Nana further bemoaned that, teaching and learning have to be truncated anytime the clouds of the rain gather.
Nana Okai Ansah’s lamentation comes after Mr. Isaac Agyiri (Show Boy) a teacher in the schools donated 10 bags of cement to aid the renovation of the school.
The chief therefore called on the government and other benevolent individuals and groups to come to their aid before the unpalatable story is told.

The headteacher of the school Mr. Dominic Lord Hodanu also revealed that, government started teachers quarters projects some many years back but it has been entirely abandoned so he called on the authorities to complete the projects so that teachers can have a safe resting place.
