The 2023 overall district best farmer in Twifo Atti-morkwa district of central region who is also the Twifo Atti-morkwa constituency chairman for NDC chairman Hakim Adai has stressed that farmers need no better motivation than to have their roads well constructed to enable them transport their farm produce to markets.
He said that, almost all the agricultural produce come from the rural communities where farming is done on a large scale but road network in such areas are in terrible conditions to the extent that farmers cannot transport their produce to markets.
Chairman Hakim Adai appealed to the government to pay particular attention to such roads since agriculture is the backbone of the Ghanaian economy.
He made this statement during the thanksgiving service in Twifo Praso after he was crowned the 2023 Twifo Atti-morkwa district overall best farmer.

Chairman Hakim Adai also lamented that farming has now become an expensive venture which is deterring most of the youth from going into the agric sector so he again implored the government to provide financial support for the youth to entice them into agribusiness.
