Simon Dzade also known as Kwoffie is a 38 year old farmer with five children at Wassa Agave in the Wassa East district of western region.
He has been allegedly gang beaten to death by his three cousins, two of the suspects are females and one male.
A thorough investigation by Listowel Aboagye Dacosta of Wassaman and peace Fm revealed that, there was a funeral at Wassa Agave community of which both the deceased and his wife attended the funeral.
But Kwoffie (the deceased) left the funeral ground earlier than her wife with the hope that her wife would join him in the house soon to prepare super for the family.
The deceased called his wife on phone after his wife was not coming home but the phone call did not go through.

Around 8:30pm, the deceased’s wife returned home. This made Kwoffie the deceased very furious with his wife so he struck on her to beat her up.
During the scuffle between the couple, three other relatives of the deceased who were present at the time tried to separate the two. In their attempt to do so the deceased turned his anger on them which rather escalated the situation where the three suspect allegedly beat the deceased with both hands and sticks.
Two days after the incident, Simon Dzade (Kwoffie) died which the family of the deceased attribute to the gang beaten by the three suspects.
The matter was reported to Ateiku police station where investigations are ongoing whiles the body has been deposited at Christian mortuary at Ateiku.
