The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has Extended a Helping Hand with Generous Donations for their Member’s Medical Treatment

In a heartwarming display of solidarity and compassion, the President of GRNMA Madam Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo has taken a significant step to support one of her own during a challenging time. The association made a generous donation of GHC40,000.00 to aid in the medical treatment of a sick member; Miss Henrietta Ayevor.

The recipient of this benevolent gesture, Miss Ayevor, is a Midwife stationed in Gbanko CHPS of the Nadowli-Kaleo District of the Upper West Region. She has been facing a health challenge that required immediate medical attention and has since been receiving treatment at the Ho Teaching Hospital. The association was quick to come to the aid of its members, recognizing the importance of standing together in times of need.

A substantial donation of GHC40,000.00 was made on 2nd October 2023 to ensure that Miss Ayevor continues to receive the necessary medical care without any financial constraints. This act of generosity again testify to the association’s commitment to the well-being of its members.

The Fund is not an additional contribution from the members but is built from 6% of the total dues that each member pays to the association for Secretariat works.

The presentation was made by the Volta regional executives on behalf of the Upper West branch since the member is still receiving treatment in the Ho Teaching Hospital.
