The National Treasurer, Moses Robertson Anyigba, and Assistant Regional Secretary, Peter Korsi Soka, presented cheques worth GHC6,000.00 each to 38 members who were affected by the Akosombo Dam spillage in the South Tongu district on 3rd January, 2024 on behalf of the President, Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo.
The team met with the Nurse Manager and a cross-section of the affected members at the Richard Novarti Catholic hospital.
The beneficiaries expressed their gratitude to the leadership at all level of the Association.
The team later call on the Nurse Manager at Sogakope District hospital and the South Tongu District Health Director to discuss issues affecting members and also thank them for their support over the years.
