ELMINA GETTING A FISHING HARBOUR?

Aerial view of the newly built Elmina Fishing Harbour situated in the Central Region of Ghana is nearing completion.

The project boasts of an ablution, administration block, fish market shed, fish net mending shed.

The project has fish auction hall, workshop, and a Daycare center.

Adjacent to it is the fish processing plant which includes Coldstore, iced block maker which have been incorporated into the Harbour.

The berth draught for fish canoes, boats, or trawlers is between 3m to 5m.

The project when commissioned and starts operation will be a game changer considering its potential.

It will help boost the economic development of the Central Region of Ghana.
