MISS HELLEN OKRAH WINS MISS AKWAABA PAGEANT 2023

March 11,2023. CCNMTC Auditorium, Cape Coast 

 It was a Night of rain. 

 It was a Night of lightening.

The Night was Hellen enough to journey into a morning of cold. 

What a contest! Miss Hellen Okrah, a trainee at the Nursing and Midwifery Training College Cape Coast won the Miss Akwaaba Pageant after hours of competitive shows during the nignt. 

 The climax of the Miss Akwaaba Pageant for Nursing and Midwifery Training College Cape Coast was full of excitement and moments worth keeping. 

 The event started with arrival of dignitaries, Red Carpet show and photoshoot. 

 It was a night for the 16 Akwaaba Ladies who prior to the climax were hosted by the GRNMA Hotel Cape Coast to give them a feel of relaxation and ambience a week ago. 

 The evening saw the contestants going through five phases namely Dancing and Choreography, Catwalk, Fashion Show, Talent show and Presentations & Eviction.

Audience were treated to a wonderful night were Student Nurses and Midwives showed what they can do outside the traditional clinical work. 

 Miss Jemimah Emefa came up as the 1st Runner-up with some good performances. Miss Gloria Kwetiwaa Eyison took the 2nd Runner-up position with some deserving performances. 

Miss Salamatu Osman took the 3rd Runner-up slot during the Climax of the Miss Akwaaba Pageant. Miss Precious Donkoh took the 5th position being part of the last five which qualified to the grand finale. Miss Erica Maku won the Miss Talent for the show. She was deemed as most talented contestant. In all, the votes, performances and composure took the centre stage in adjudging the winner. Congratulations to Miss Hellen Okrah.
