GRNMA CENTRAL REGION MARKS IDM 2023 WITH A SEMINAR.

The Registered Nurses and Midwives Association marked this year’s International Day of the Midwife with a Regional Seminar.

The Regional Seminar brought together Midwives from all the Central Regional administrative Districts of the GRNMA .

The Regional Chairman welcomed participants to the seminar and delivered Ayeekoo message from Mrs. Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, the President of the Association to the Participants for their hard work and sacrifice.

The representative for the National Midwives Group under the GRNMA Ms. Edith Wuver addressed the gathering and gave cogent reasons for the Midwifery practice to be guided by evidence-based actions.

Participants discussed Career progression, Teamwork and Team building in Midwifery .
The Presentation was done by Mrs Jemimah Fati Ackon, the Principal of Nursing and Midwifery Training College Cape Coast.

The second Presentation was on Using Evidence-based practice in independent decision making.
The Presentation was done Madam Joana Peace Otoo from the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.

Participants were given opportunity to voice out concerns and recommendations for improvements in Midwifery services .

Participants expressed gratitude to the GRNMA for organising this year’s seminar and promised to maintain loyalty and allegiance to the Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association.
