University of Education, Winneba gets new Chancellor.
President Akufo Addo has encouraged the University of Education, Winneba to at all times execute their mandate of producing professional educators who will spearhead government’s vision of championing rapid economic and social development.
The President who was speaking at the investiture and induction of the Nai Ghartey VII as the new Chancellor of the University urged him to use his high office to ensure peace at the university.
According to President Akufo Addo who was speaking at the investiture and induction of the Omanhene of Effutu Traditional Area Nai Ghartey VII as the new Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba urged the Omanhene to use his office to ensure peace at the university.
The President again urged authorities of the University to continue to produce professional educators who will spearhead government’s new national vision of education aimed at championing rapid economic and social development.
President Akufo also applauded the leadership of Alhaji Asumani Banda the immediate past Chancellor of the University for steering it to greater heights emerging as the third best university in Ghana in 2016 and adjudged the most sustainable university in Ghana last year.
The Omanhene of Effutu Traditional Area who is now the Chancellor of the University of Education, Winneba Nai Ghartey VII says he is ready to chart a new path to ensure growth and peace in the university.
