NPP’s Nana B has stated on his Facebook page that “A petition has just been finalised to be submitted to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service demanding the immediate arrest, investigation and prosecution of H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Johnson Asiedu Nketiah for their ‘treasonable comments”

NPP’s Nana B has stated on his Facebook page that “A petition has just been finalised to be submitted to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service demanding the immediate arrest, investigation and prosecution of H.E. John Dramani Mahama and Johnson Asiedu Nketiah for their ‘treasonable comments”
He also further intimated that their “treasonable comments” “threaten the peace and security of the State as well as our democratic stability”.
Former President Mahama and party Chairman Asiedu Nketiah have on countless occasions alluded to the revolutionary roots of the NDC and their readiness to do everything including deploring violence to secure an electoral gain. Such reckless and treasonable commentary is what recently emboldened their ilk, the NDC Youth Organiser in Suame to brazenly suggest the NDC would kill to secure victory in 2024.
Nana B, further stated that “We trust that the CID without fear of status would invite and investigate the treasonable comments by Former President John Mahama and Johnson Asiedu Nketiah which conduces to offensive conduct conducive to breach of the peace in our Republic”, his Facebook statement concluded.
