VIOLENT ATTACK ON MILLENNIUM CITY BLOCK FACTORY: 2 PERSONS SEVERELY INJURED.

A violent attack on workers of a block factory by thugs at Millenium City in the Gomoa East District of the Central Region of Ghana has led to severe injury of two persons.

The block factory was invaded by a group of ruthless persons following an argument between a driver at the factory and a sub chief of the area.

According to Eric, a driver at the block factory, Enoch Amoaning the Mmerantehene of Millenium City who is also the son of the Millenium City Chief scratched the truck he was operating with his Toyota Landcruiser.

The driver say he was however slapped by the Chief when he approached him to demand for a repair of the damaged area of the truck. He says even though tempers were calmed the Chief threatened to deal with him.

A few moments later, the Chief, Enoch Amoaning in the company of about 20 thugs who are suspected to be landguards in the area arrived at the AG block factory and began attacking the workers.

The attack led to the injure of three persons with two severe cases. Here are the victims speaking to Media Central Online

CEO of the block factory Gideon Ashia says the matter has been reported to the police but they are yet to take any action. He laments the negative impact of such violent activities on businesses in the area.

Meanwhile, some residents have called for the immediate arrest of the chief and all persons who took part in the attack.

According to them, most of the landguard activities in the area are perpetrated by the Chief and his thugs.
