New Patriotic Party (NPP) approves Timelines for Presidential and Parliamentary Primaries.

The New Patriotic Party, following a joint National Executive Committee (NEC) and National Council meeting held on Monday, April 3, 2023, has approved timelines for holding presidential and parliamentary primaries of the Party ahead of the 2024 general elections.

The opening of
Nomination for Presidential primaries is on 26th May, 2023 and closes on 24th June, 2023.

Special Electoral College Elections (if any) would be held on 26th August, 2023.

National Congress would be held on 4th November 2023.

PARLIAMENTARY PRIMARIES

(Orphan Constituencies)
Opening of Nominations will be on 16th June, 2023 and Closes on 14th July, 2023.

Acclamation of Unopposed Candidates (if any) would be on 15th July, 2023.

Elections will then be organised on 2nd December, 2023.
