Risky On-street windscreen cleaning business in Accra.
On such a busy highway such as the George Walker Bush Highway, there is this risky on-street glass cleaning business.
As if all wipers of vehicles on the stretch are all not functioning, these “service providers” impose themselves on motorists to clean their windscreens for them immediately traffic builds up.
Regarding the solution these service providers use to clean the windscreens, no one can tell.
But what is striking is that most of these service providers though they provide unsolicited services, they have no particular rate they charge motorists.
Though dangerous and unsolicited service, they are able to make some monies for daily survival.
At times, some motorists allow these “service providers” to offer the services so they give them token for their hustle.
But are they safe on our roads?
