PRAK & Daughters Pharmacy Donate Glucometers worth GH¢90,000.00 to Health Facilities within Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District
Receiving the consignment on behalf of the 38 CHPS, 2 Health Centres, and 1 Polyclinic, the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District Health Director, Dr. Cletus Bayor expressed gratitude to PRAK and Daughters Pharmacy for the timely donations made and urged beneficiary facilities to make good use of them.
Mr. Ebenezer Appiah-Apraku (CEO, PRAK & Daughters and NPP Chairman, AOB Constituency) as part of its corporate social responsibilities donated 300pcs of glucometers valued at GH¢90,000.00 to all health facilities and some 72 diabetic patients within the district to support their daily blood glucose monitoring.

Dr. Mante of Our Lady of Grace Hospital (OLGH) received glucometers on behalf of the 79 diabetic patients who were present during the donation and expressed appreciation for the gesture and asked for more support to help the growing number of people living with Diabetes Mellitus within the catchment area of the hospital.
Patients and their families were full of excitement for the gesture and prayed that more of such donations will come their way.
