TWIFO PRASO SHS STUDENTS CRY OVER SPREAD OF BEDBUGS, INADEQUATE BEDS, FURNITURE ETC
The students of Twifo Praso Senior High School in the Twifo Atti-morkwa district of central region are lamenting about the unpleasant condition of the school under which they learn.
According to the displeased students, the Twifo Praso SHS despite its academic excellence over the years, lacks the fundamental educational facilities for learning such as computers, school bus, students beds and furniture for students.
What is more disheartening is the overspread of bedbugs in their dormitories. Besides the lighting system of the school is also another bane on the school.
According to the students, the above challenges woefully affect their physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing as students so they are inviting all stakeholders in education to take a swift intervention to salvage the situation.
All these came to the limelight when the Old Students Association of Twifo Praso SHS (OSAT) donated 100 mono desks and 8 kitchen stools to the Twifo Praso SHS.
The President of the Old Students Association of Twifo Praso SHS Mr. Isaac Nana Kojo Antwi explained to Listowel Aboagye Dacosta of Wassaman Fm the rational behind their donation.
The head master of Twifo Praso SHS, Mr. Daniel Kofi Aidoo on behalf of the school management, students and teachers expressed their delight about the desks the school has received from the Old Students Association of Twipass.
