UPON HOLDING ALL THE POLITICAL OFFICES FROM ASSEMBLY MAN TO PRESIDENT, YOU CAN ONLY BE REMEMBERED FOR ONLY FLEW AWAY GUINEA FOWLS TO BURKINA FASO AND DUMSOR… Bawumia tells Mahama
The vice president of Ghana Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia has stated that, Ghanaians should vote for the person who has a positive track record but not the one with nothing to show.
He emphasized unequivocally that, the former President John Dramani Mahama has blessedly enjoyed all the national leadership positions in the country from assembly man to president however, the only achievement that he has with which Ghanaians will always remember him for is the flew away guinea fowls to Burkina Faso and Dumsor. Meanwhile, he (Mahama) has the courage to tout himself as the most experienced leader and so Ghanaians should give him the second chance.
Dr. Bawumia mentioned that, the 2024 elections is a world cup final match between the NPP and NDC so NPP needs a prolific striker like Bawumia to lead the party before they can win the election.
He made this statement when he met party delegates in the Twifo Atti-morkwa constituency of central region to interact with them and solicit for their votes in their upcoming flag bearership elections.

Dr. Bawumia further stated that, he is only a vice president not a president but has introduced countless transformational policies in Ghana such as Ghana card, digital address system, mobile interoperability, agenda 111, zongo development fund, 1D1F, one million dollars per constituency every year among other things. So he is somebody with enviable track record who can lead the party to break the 8.

Finally, Dr. Bawumia also disclosed that, currently the prices of fuel in Ghana has reduced drastically because of the gold for oil policy which he introduced.
Besides, in spite of the devastating effects of the covid-19 and the Russia and Ukraine war, the NPP government under the leadership of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo- Addo has also created one million two hundred jobs in Ghana within a space of six years and more jobs are also in the pipeline.
