What makes John Mahama think he can beguile Ghanaians with his seductive but rather deceptive attempts of creating the impression that he is the one to root out galamsey from our lands?

He finds the report of Professor Frimpong Boateng as so sacrosanct and gospel that he is berating this administration for failing to deal decisively with this cancerous problem.

Was he not the same person who, two weeks ago, vowed to free all jailed galamseyers so that they could go back and do their mining?

Didn’t we see Kwaku Boahen and Dr. Tony Aubynn campaigning in galamsey areas assuring those illegal miners of unfettered access to lands to ply their illegal trades?

John Mahama and his people should be the last people to talk about galamsey. They have no moral justification to talk about this matter.

Didn’t he read from the same report that there are NDC kingpins who are also neck deep in these illegal mining activities?

Mahama can never be trusted to fight galamsey. How can we trust a person who willed our bauxite lands to his brother for life? He will never even attempt to fight galamsey.

He should stop disturbing our ears with his unrealistic promises. We shall not vote for him to come and worsen our situation.
